Frequently Asked Questions
First, make sure the machine is properly plugged into a working power supply. Then, press either the Espresso or Lungo button to turn the machine on. If the problem persists, contact an authorized dealer.
This is likely due to a faulty capsule. To resolve this, lift the lever completely and close it again to eject the current capsule. Then, insert a new capsule to test.
To reset the Lungo button's volume setting, ensure the machine is in the standby stage. Then, press and hold both the Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
After the machine has preheated, press and hold the Lungo button. The machine will start extracting coffee. Release the button when your desired coffee volume is reached. The machine will blink rapidly for 3 seconds to confirm the new volume has been saved.
Please use potable water. The manual specifies not to use hot water or tap water to fill the tank.
For safety, if the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard. Do not attempt to use the machine.
This usually means there is no capsule in the brewing unit. Please lift the lever, insert a new capsule, and close the lever before trying again.
Insert a capsule, press the coffee button, then rotate the knob switch to select "Cold Brew" mode and press briefly. For the best result, it is recommended to add ice water or ice to the water tank.
With the machine powered off, press and hold the Knob switch while plugging in the power cord. Select the factory default setting, then press the Knob switch again to confirm. The volume settings will be restored.
The machine is equipped with an energy-saving function and will automatically power off after 10 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, simply press either the Coffee or Water button.
If the lever cannot be closed, the used capsule container is most likely full. Please carefully remove and empty the used capsule container.
The temperature setting range for hot water can be programmed to: Normal / 45°C / 65°C / 85°C / Hot.
Please make sure the machine is properly plugged into a working power outlet. If it is plugged in and still does not start, contact an authorized dealer for assistance.
If the coffee is too cold, the machine is not yet ready. It needs to complete its preheating cycle. Please wait until the temperature is reached, which will be shown by the indicator light or on the OLED screen.
Press the menu button, select the milk mode, then rotate the Knob switch to choose either "Milk" or "Milk Froth." After selecting, press the knob. The current volume will blink. Rotate the knob to select the new volume and press it again to save the setting.
Press the menu button and select the self-cleaning mode. Rotate the Knob switch to choose the specific cycle (Clean Milk circle system, Clean Milk tank, or Clean Water circle system). Press the startup button to begin the cleaning process.
During the power-off state, press and hold the Knob switch while plugging in the power. Select the reset to factory setting option. Then, press the Knob switch again to confirm, and the volume will be reset to the default.
This could be caused by not enough water in the tank. Please make sure the water level in the tank is sufficient. If necessary, refill with cold natural water.
A white flashing LED indicates that the bean hopper is not installed correctly. Please remove and reinstall the bean hopper, ensuring it is properly seated and locked.
There are a few possible causes: there may be no coffee beans in the hopper, or the drop channel for beans is not unlocked. Add fresh beans and ensure the locking knob is turned clockwise to allow beans to drop normally. It could also indicate a blockage inside; follow cleaning instructions if needed.
First, run the grinder empty to clear remaining beans. Unplug the grinder, remove the bean hopper, and unlock and remove the upper grinding burr. Clean the burrs and the grinding chamber with a brush or compressed air. Do not wash the burrs with water. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
To adjust the grind size, rotate the entire bean hopper (clockwise for coarser, counter-clockwise for finer). To adjust the amount of coffee, rotate the grind time knob (clockwise to increase time and produce more grounds).
This indicates that the burr plate is jammed. You must clean the grinder according to the "Clean the coffee grinder" instructions in the manual to clear the jam.
To pause during operation, press the grind time knob once. The light will flash slowly. The unit retains the setting for 1 minute; if you press the knob again within that minute, it will complete the remaining time. If you press it after 1 minute, it will run the full selected time again.
This can be caused by a few issues: the portafilter is inserted incorrectly, there is too much ground coffee in the filter, or the group head's silicone seal is dirty. Try re-inserting the portafilter, using the correct amount of coffee, and cleaning the group head sealing.
Please check the following: ensure there is water in the tank, confirm the water tank is installed correctly, check that the holes in the portafilter are not blocked, and consider if the machine needs to be descaled as per the instructions.
A thin, pale crema means the coffee is flowing too quickly. This can be because the ground coffee is too coarse, it is not pressed down firmly enough, or the amount of coffee is lower than the fill line. Try using a finer grind and pressing the ground coffee more firmly.
After each use, it is important to wipe the remaining milk from the steam wand with a soft, damp cloth. This should be done promptly to avoid milk scale from building up.
Turn the mode knob to the coffee position. Rotate the screen knob to "Settings" and press it. Then, rotate to the "Clean" icon (descaling mode) and press it. Follow the on-screen instructions to prepare and start the descaling process.
This can occur when using coffee powder that is too fine for extraction, which prevents water from flowing properly. To fix this, cancel the extraction, remove the stainless steel handle, pour out the coffee puck, and use coarser coffee powder for your next extraction.
